Towel Manufacturer & Exporter
Design & Towel Types
I have design artwork ready with me. Can you use it in my design?
Certainly. We can use the Printed Velour method which appropriates for photos or art on a towel. To prevent fuzzy or unclear prints, we strongly recommend the photograph or artwork be a high-resolution JPEG, TIFF, AI or PSD file above 300 DPI.
For other colourful designs, our design team can provide complimentary assistance in digitizing/vectorizing these images. Occasionally this process will add to your turnaround time.
Can I get a digital copy of the design?
Yes. After every design consultation, we will send you a clear digital copy of the design. If it’s not perfect, let us know and we won’t rest until it is. When you’re happy with it, we’ll send your approved design to the factory for production. Designs will be sent 1 to 2 business days after your payment is confirmed. Designs can also be sent before payment when requested.
Can I make any shape I want?
Our collection lines are more versatile than you’d expect — just ask your creative specialist and you might be surprised at what we can do.
Are there limitations to the number of colors I can have?
Minimum 800kg per color on a single towel. We can do an unlimited amount of colors but for every nine colors of thread, your product cost and speed are doubled. For most of our customers’ designs, though, nine colors is more than enough. You might also be interested in the digital printing option if you’re wanting something exceptionally colorful.

Yarn Dyed
Yarn Dyed Towels are superior fabric over-all. The actual yarn is dyed before being woven. This creates a more consistent quality effect of depth & composition. Usually, you will like to have the yarns dyed before weaving the fabric when combining different colors or textures is needed to accomplish the desired design.
jacquard towel
A jacquard towel is a towel made from colored yarns to weave the pattern (Logo) into the towel. A jacquard towel is often made with two colors, but sometimes more colors more can be woven. A jacquard towel usually has the pattern (logo) in reverse on the back of the towel. (Like a negative).
What is a jacquard border?
Some modern jacquard looms can manufacture a flat woven section at either end of the towel. Not all mills have this technology but a jacquard border has the added advantage of additional colors and decoration.
Why don’t velour towels dry as well as terry towels?
The velour side of the towel is definitely not meant for drying…it is meant to be sat on or laid on the beach! The scientific action of water on the velour means that the water does not absorb as easily and you should always use the terry side to dry yourself.
Do the towels shrink?
Shrinkage will occur with all towels made of natural fibers like cotton and the amount of shrinkage will range from 4 -10%. Our jacquard towels are supplied in the natural or loom state form, so have not been pre-shrunk. Once washed, as per our washing instructions, the towels will shrink, become more fluffy and the pile becomes soft and dense and less likely to pull. There will always be a little pilling ( see above). Towels washed in hot water or dried at hot temperatures will shrink excessively. Loom state jacquard items normally shrink more than piece-dyed bath towels.
How do I measure the quality of a towel?
There are many different components to a towel, but the general rule is that a heavier towel is suitable for the bathroom, where it can dry out easily between uses, whereas a lighter-weight towel is better suited to the beach, where it gets more frequent use in one period. The yarn is very important and will reflect in the price of the towel.
How many colors can my design have?
8 colors can be printed on velour printed towel. Printed velour can be printed in gradient.
Printed Towel designs can receive a maximum 10 colors for traditional spot screen printing (solid colors only, no gradients).
Embroidery can accommodate up to nine colors per location, but we advise no more than five for clarity’s sake.
Can I get screenprinting or heat transfers on my towels?
No. The reason we don’t allow this option is that screenprinting or heat-transfers on towels look terrible the moment you start to wear it, cracking as the fabric underneath it moves and stretches. The designs you here are either patches that can move and stretch along with the fabric or designs into the fabric. It’s indeed possible, as some of our competitors will say – but you won’t want to wear it more than once.
